Features & Benefits
- The FLASH Face SS20 is a new face created by the AI- designed FLASH Face SS20 and AI that has evolved the Face Cup . The supercomputer prototypes a number of virtual models, and the analysis is repeated until it is perfect, resulting in a face with an enlarged high initial velocity area. In addition, fairway woods are model-specific and count-specific, and the MAVRIK fairway woods are designed with a wide area of high initial velocity, especially below the face. AI is also involved in the design of the face cup structure. Here, too, it contributes to the expansion of the high initial velocity area.
- The FLASH Face SS20 uses new material C300 maraging steel . The fairway wood also uses a new material (W # 3, 5; W # 7 has 455 carpenter steel). Higher strength, higher modulus C300 maraging steel. By combining this material with the FLASH Face SS20 and Face Cup, the ball’s initial velocity has been maximized, and for the first time in Callaway history, it has achieved the same rebound performance as a driver despite being a fairway wood.
- Proprietary technology also supports a new face JAILBREAK technology and triaxial carbon crown, which have become indispensable to Callaway’s wood clubs, are of course adopted. JAILBREAK technology creates high ball speeds, and the triaxial carbon crown creates excess weight, optimizing weight distribution. At the MAVRIK Fairway Wood, a weight screw is mounted behind the sole to increase the moment of inertia.
- Leading edge by model, easy to pick up the ball The fairway wood of the MAVRIK series has a leading edge by model. MAVRIK Fairway Wood is designed closer to the ground than EPIC FLASH Fairway Wood, making it easier to pick up the ball. Because the high initial velocity area is spread under the face, it is fairway wood that can be very easily distanced.
